An independent space for my work
IANF brings projects, research, and background together in a simple personal website. Longer-form writing stays on a separate blog.
The visual approach is inspired by OpenAI’s quiet typography, generous space, and editorial layouts. The identity and content belong to Ian Fang.
Thoughtful interactions
The homepage uses a lightweight Canvas field that responds to the pointer. Animation pauses offscreen and respects reduced-motion preferences; touch devices receive a static version.
English lives at the root, with Chinese under /zh. UI labels use a shared dictionary, project stories use separate MDX files, and language links preserve the current page.
Built to grow carefully
The Next.js application separates reusable interface components, content, and design tokens. Research lives on the main site for now, while the existing blog keeps its own framework. Feed summaries are fetched on the server and refreshed periodically.
